RITA DE MUYNCK is the first recipient of the Generations Prize, a new award presented by the Professional Association of Visual Artists (BBK).

Part of this Generations Prize, awarded for the first time in 2024, was a solo exhibition in Room 7 at the GALERIE DER KÜNSTLER*INNEN (Gallery of Artists), Munich

from December 7, 2024, to January 11, 2025.

ERRORS One Can Fall Into (IRRTÜMER in die man verfallen kann)

RITA DE MUYNCK transformed Room 7 into an audio-visual cave using painting, relief, synesthesia, and sound.

At the same time, she poetically complemented the errors with hints of a lighthearted reconciliation.

With the design of the exhibition space, the artist created an experimental setup that reflects her experimental working method.

Visitors to the exhibition could discover multifaceted dialogues and, at times, even become part of them.
